AI Warehouse (ABN 40 466 852 258) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Enquiry and contact details: your name, email address, phone number, company, delivery suburb or postcode, and anything you tell us in an enquiry, quote request, consultation booking or email.
• Order details: the products you ask about or buy, delivery address, invoices and payment records. If you pay by bank transfer we receive the details shown on the transfer. We do not collect or store full card numbers.
• Export compliance information: where a product is subject to export controls, the information you give in an end-use or compliance declaration, such as your organisation, intended use and location.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, if you choose to receive stock and price updates.
• Website usage: information collected automatically by our website platform, such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit, using cookies and similar technologies.

You can browse the website without telling us who you are. If you do not give us the information we ask for, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry or supply products.

How we use it

• to answer your enquiries, prepare quotes and hold consultations;
• to process, deliver and support your orders, including warranty and fault claims;
• to carry out export compliance checks and meet our legal obligations;
• to send you updates you have asked for, if you have opted in; and
• to run, secure and improve our website.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed for these purposes, with:

• our Australian distributor, which ships orders and processes warranty claims;
• couriers delivering your order;
• manufacturers, where needed for a warranty claim or export compliance;
• service providers that run our website, email and business systems, including Shopify; and
• government agencies or regulators where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information held overseas

Our website is hosted by Shopify, and some of our service providers store data outside Australia, including in Canada and the United States. Shopify's handling of personal information is described in its own privacy policy.

Marketing

We send marketing emails only if you have opted in, for example by signing up for stock and price updates. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe. We may still email you about an enquiry or order you have made with us.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep it working, such as remembering the products in your enquiry, and to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may then stop working.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, including tax and business record-keeping requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
