About Vertiv

Insurance you plug in.

Vertiv builds power and cooling equipment for data centres, and Liebert is its long-established UPS brand. A UPS, or uninterruptible power supply, keeps equipment running on battery when mains power drops and smooths out the dips and spikes in between.

The Liebert GXT5 units we supply are online UPS systems, which means your hardware always runs from the UPS's own conditioned output instead of straight from the wall. They can be installed in a rack or stood upright as a tower.

For an AI setup the job is simple: give a training run time to save and shut down cleanly, and keep expensive GPUs, servers and storage away from bad power.

01Size the UPS to the total power draw of everything plugged into it, with headroom.
02Larger units may need a dedicated circuit or hardwiring by an electrician.
03Runtime depends on load. A UPS buys time to shut down, not hours of work.
04Batteries wear out and are replaceable. Plan for that over the life of the unit.

What size UPS do I need?

Add up the power draw of everything you want protected, then choose a unit with comfortable headroom above that. Send us your hardware list and we will help you work it out.

How do I buy Vertiv products?

Add what you need to your enquiry and send it to us. We reply by email to confirm availability, pricing and delivery, then arrange the order by invoice. No payment is taken online.

Where do they ship from?

We source Vertiv products through our Australian distributor, and orders ship from within Australia. Delivery is free Australia-wide.

What warranty do I get?

Every product carries Vertiv's manufacturer warranty. Ask us for the term on a specific model.

Can you get a Vertiv product that isn't listed?

Often, yes. Tell us the model or part number and we will check availability and lead time with our distributor.
