Stereolabs.
Eyes for machines.

You bring the robot. Stereolabs makes the cameras that let it see in three dimensions: how far away things are, where it is in a space and what is moving around it. They are built to work with NVIDIA Jetson.

About Stereolabs

Depth, not just pictures.

An ordinary camera gives a machine a flat image. A Stereolabs ZED camera uses two lenses, like a pair of eyes, to work out depth, so a robot can judge distance, map a room and track objects as they move.

The cameras come with the ZED SDK, Stereolabs' software for depth sensing and spatial perception, which works with common robotics tools including ROS, OpenCV and Python. Stereolabs says more than 100,000 developers use its technology.

The range splits by how the camera connects. USB models such as the ZED 2i and ZED Mini plug into almost anything. The ZED X family uses GMSL2, a connection made for longer cables and harsher conditions, and suits robots and vehicles.

02

ZED X

GMSL2 stereo cameras in sealed housings, made for robots and autonomous machines.

03

ZED X One

Single-lens GMSL2 cameras, including a 4K model, for building custom multi-camera setups.

Good fit if you are
→Adding depth perception to a robot or vehicle
→Building tracking, mapping or spatial analytics
→Working outdoors or in dusty, wet conditions
→Already building on NVIDIA Jetson
Worth knowing before you buy
01GMSL2 cameras need a capture card or a carrier board with GMSL inputs.
02A wider lens sees more of the scene. A narrower lens sees further.
03Check the ingress protection rating if the camera will be outside.
04Some models are listed as a base configuration. Ask us about lens and filter options.

Questions

Buying Stereolabs from us.

Do I need anything else to use a ZED X camera?

Yes. ZED X cameras connect over GMSL2, so you need a GMSL capture card or a Jetson carrier board with GMSL inputs, plus the right cable. Tell us what you are connecting to and we will quote the full set.
