About Seeed Studio

Open hardware, finished and boxed.

Seeed Studio is an open-source hardware company. It describes its mission as making technology accessible, and its products follow that: well documented, openly specified and priced for teams that are building, not just buying.

For AI, the product that matters is the reComputer. It takes an NVIDIA Jetson module and puts it in a compact case with the ports, storage and cooling already sorted, so you can go from a developer kit on a bench to a unit installed in the field.

Seeed also makes the reBot Arm, an open robot arm for sim-to-real learning and teleoperation, which pairs with a Jetson computer and a depth camera to make a complete robotics setup.

The range

Two lines: computers and arms.

01

reComputer

Compact edge computers built around NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano modules, ready to mount and deploy.

02

reComputer Robotics

Jetson computers with extra camera and robotics interfaces, including GMSL on selected models.

03

reBot Arm

Open six-axis robot arms with a gripper, assembled or as a kit, for research and teaching.

04

Star Arm leader

A leader arm for teleoperating the reBot Arm and recording demonstrations.

Good fit if you are
→Moving an edge AI project from prototype to deployment
→Needing a compact Jetson computer with ports included
→Researching or teaching robot manipulation
→Preferring open, well-documented hardware
Worth knowing before you buy
01Each reComputer is built around a specific Jetson module. Choose by the memory and performance you need.
02Robotics models add GMSL camera inputs for multi-camera setups.
03Robot arms come assembled or as a kit. Kits cost less and take time to build.
04The arm needs a computer to run it. A Jetson is the usual choice.

Questions

Buying Seeed Studio from us.

What is the difference between a reComputer and a Jetson developer kit?

A developer kit is an open board for prototyping on a bench. A reComputer is the same kind of Jetson module in a finished case with storage and ports, made to be installed and left running.
